This book is the output of the 4-year research project DOMINIA, which explored
the role of the state in the governance of landed commons in Europe and beyond. The interdisciplinary research team joined forces and built an integrated framework to underpin the amalgamation of political economy of land, law and socio-spatial science/geography towards a holistic understanding of commons governance.
